It’s October, and the weather may be getting cooler, but the shoe market is getting hotter! It’s finally time to ditch strappy sandals and Birkenstocks and bring out the boots! What better way to show out for the fall than with a brand new pair of Ugg boots?
If there’s one thing that holds true about Ugg boots, its that for the past two decades, they have pretty much managed to stay consistent in popularity, coming out with new styles every couple of years, whether it be the tall boot or the tiny slippers. This year, Ugg has decided to debut the Ultra Mini Boot with a twist: a platform sole! Ultra minis replicate the classic tall Ugg boot, except the boot only extends slightly past the ankle. While Ugg does tend to remain on the pricier side of the shoe market, I’m here to tell you why these boots are totally worth the hype, and why you need to add them to your new and improved fall wardrobe.
Not only do these boots go with everything from jeans and sweatpants to cute fall skirts and dresses, but you also have the option to choose from six different colors: Eve Blue, Pearfect (an elegant pale yellow), Samba Red, Black, Chestnut, and Mustard Seed, a light beige. I chose to stick to the classic Chestnut, and here’s how it went!
Thankfully, the boots fit true to size! As a size 8, the boots slipped on easily while at the same time not sliding off of my foot. Another plus: there is room for fuzzy boot socks, another absolute staple in my fall and winter wardrobe. The Ultra Mini Platforms have about an inch and a half think foam sole, which makes it a chunkier shoe. The look of a chunky shoe paired with flared jeans or yoga pants can really complete a look, so I really enjoyed this aspect of the boot. Another feature that I really like is how warm the inside of the shoe is! The inside is line with real fleece, making the boots cozy and perfect for the frigid weather to come!
I absolutely recommend the ultra mini platform ugg to any person who wants to up their fall fashion. The boots are the perfect mix of cute and cozy, a combination that is just so difficult to find these days. At $160.00, the boots are definitely an investment that are sure to stay in style!
